    What a beautiful girl your daughter is.

    She is in my most favourite shade of green. When I was a young girl I had a dress that colour with a yellow band, about 2 inches wide, from the neck to the hem - I wore it for two years straight. I loved that dress.

    One day I came home from school, I hadn't worn it as my mother said it was a wash day and it was gone - she had thrown it out (now I can see why - it was thread bare) I was devastated - I was heartbroken.

    Funny how you remember that stuff a million years later.

    Let your girl know I think she looks smashing in all her photos. I can tell you are a proud mother.
