It's so hard to believe that Kathryn is graduating. I still remember the first time Kathryn came into my life, when Jim and I rekindled our high school friendship. From the minute Bree and Kathryn met, they were fast friends--like sisters, really. And she's been like an extra daughter to me through the years, as both of the girls progressed through their junior high and high school years. Bree moved away last year, and Kathryn will move away by the end of the summer. (For Kathryn it'll be UC Santa Barbara.) The girls are growing up and moving on to a really exciting new chapter in their lives. I'm so proud of Kathryn, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for her.
