Capo's by Giuseppe Gallo's

August 28, 2013

We were lucky enough to be invited to the soft open at Capo's tonight.  The open-to-the-public opening happens tomorrow.  The food was incredible, and I'm so glad we could be there to help our friends Gary and Cheryl celebrate their newest restaurant venture.  They put in so much of their time, energy, heart, and soul to build this beautiful place from the ground up, and I think all the work is going to pay off in ways they can't even yet imagine.  It was great getting to see lots of family and friends there supporting and celebrating tonight.  We especially thought our lovely waitress Kelsey did a fantastic job, and it was nice to see some familiar faces from the Gallo's staff over there as well.  Just like Gallo's, dining at Capo's was like home--like family.  We wish them all the best!

Krepp Family Christmas

December 29, 2011

Have I mentioned how much I love these people? The kids spent Christmas Eve at their dad's house this year, so Doug and I were flying solo. Our lovely extended family invited us to join them for their annual get-together, and we had just a great time. Our besties David and Carrie didn't even know we were going to be there until earlier in the day--we were so excited to get to see them for Christmas! Food, family, friends--seriously, the best kind of way to celebrate Christmas.Mama Carol's beautiful grandkids--Shanda, Marlo, Mike, Morgan, and Freya

We got Morgan, Marlo, and Freya huggable stuffed animals for Christmas. Cheryl stole a little hug from Marlo's bear: )

Too bad these girls don't like the camera at all....
I just love Freya's candy cane outfit! The two girls chased each other in circles around the living room non-stop. I can't believe they didn't just drop after awhile, but they were still going strong even after most of the adults were ready to call it quits. Oh, the magical power of Christmas!

In Which I Introduce Two Soul Sisters

November 24, 2011

I love, love, love both of these girls. They have some really similar personality traits--full, beautiful hearts and spirits, fun-loving, loud, outgoing, infectious smiles. So naturally, when an opportunity came up to introduce them to each other, I knew they'd hit it off right away. Yup--I was right!

Danielle's Fall Choir Concert

October 31, 2011

It's that time of the year again--Fall Choir Concert time! Alta Sierra and Buchanan put on a joint concert to show off the festival songs they've all been working on. I love that Danielle gets so much joy out of singing and performing on stage. Also, this year Danielle went looking for sponsors, and Auntie Cheryl and Uncle Gary sponsored her for all of the choir shows this year, so their names and the restaurant's name are listed in the program in support of Miss D. It made her so proud to see that--gotta love family and extended family!

Happy Birthday Marlo!

July 31, 2011

We got to celebrate Miss Marlo's 1st birthday with her family at Giuseppe Gallo's. The whole restaurant was filled with people who love her! I'm pretty sure her favorite part was getting to dig into her own cake: )
